Blast and cast package

If you enjoy shooting or you’d like to try your hand at it, why not come on a blast and cast day. In the morning you visit a very responsible, and safe, clay pigeon shooting provider, and with step-by-step instruction you have a go at shooting ‘clays’ which are catapulted from a ‘trap’ to simulate a variety of wild quarry.

In the afternoon it’s off for an afternoon’s fly fishing for trout on a river or highland loch. A whisky distillery visit in the afternoon is also an option

Argyll

Argyll has a clay provider, which is en-route to a distillery or brown or sea trout fishing. They’re not long started so it hasn’t the refinements of Perthshire’s venue, but blasting can be done!

Perthshire

Perthshire has by far the best clay shooting provider in Scotland. With over 50 targets, whether you are looking to practise on our simulated pheasant or test your eye on a bolting rabbit they offer the most enjoyable and varied experience in sporting clays for all skill levels. It’s close to the Tay so can be combined with salmon or trout fishing, or even pike in a nearby loch.

Edinburgh

Edinburgh has a great clay provider close to a favourite stocked trout fishing venue, where catches are as close to guaranteed as it gets.
